Big Picture, tiny detail: a narrow strip of overlay around the shank and up to the gem inspired by a perfect but subtle detail of stone work I see in a window of an old building as I cross the Ottawa River on my way home.  The greatest challenge for a designer is knowing when to stop.   Shown here set with rose quartz.
